Every step below includes every step above it. Nothing here is ever bought twice.
What things cost
Every elevated tier includes every deliverable and benefit of the tiers below it.
These are seven levels of packages, not seven separate products. Whichever one you buy, everything below it comes with it — buy the fifth tier and the first four are already yours, in the same account, at no extra cost. Start at the bottom, where it costs nothing, and move up only if your case makes you. You never pay for any of it twice.
The Dads Standard is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Everything here is general self-help information, and not all of it may apply to your situation. Talk to a licensed family-law attorney in your state before you file, sign or rely on anything.

▲Everything in The Whole Record, plus:
The Plan Builder — combine up to three of the twenty pre-written plans into one document, in the combination you choose
Annotated clause by clause, so you know what each provision does
A negotiation guide and mediator brief for each plan in your document
For the dad who wants every resource available to create the best options and plans for him and his children. The ultimate dad guide!
Self-help material. Not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. Not available to buyers in North Carolina. Find a family lawyer in your state →
If you purchased the lower plan, you only pay the difference. Buy Your State’s Law for seventy-nine dollars and later move up to First Draft, and First Draft costs you seventy. Every tier
credits in full against every tier above it. Nobody should be penalized for starting small.

Guideline schedules change every legislative session, and several states republish their figures every January without announcing it. A subscription is how you find out. These sit apart from the tiers above: a subscription does not unlock a package, and a package does not include a subscription.
State Watch
$9per month
Keeps what you bought current.
Automatic notice when your state changes its schedule, statute or rule text
Family-law developments in your state, in plain language, monthly
Your State Reference Packet reissued whenever it changes
The cheapest way to stop being the last person to hear that the law moved.
A monthly briefing on what actually moved in your state's family law, in plain language
Every new plan, guide and reference we publish while you are subscribed
Your State Reference Packet reissued the moment your state changes it
A private community — a place for dads to meet each other and talk
This is upkeep, not a package. It keeps what you own current and brings you what comes next — it does not unlock a tier, and you never need one to subscribe. Twelve months at the monthly price is $348; the year is $290, so two of them are free.
Firms buy the Variance Summary in blocks, at up to 25 % off, with a dashboard
that opens matters, invites your client to the secure portal, and emails you when the
analysis is ready. There is a working demo of it on the counsel page.
Prices in US dollars. A Financial Fact-Check covers one
full year of your own records at Prove The Number; Both Sides, Two Years covers two full years
for both parties, with nothing further to buy. One-time purchases include
lifetime updates to the material you bought. Subscriptions cancel in one click and you keep
every document you downloaded while subscribed. The three tiers from Prove The Number upward
include work a person does by hand — buy one and your account shows Upload records straight away.
All of it is still ahead of you.
Before you choose
Not sure which tier is yours?
There is no wrong place to start. Every tier already contains the products in the tier below it, so if you buy a lower plan now and move up later, you only pay the difference. Nothing on this page is ever bought twice. If you would rather have a person tell you which one fits your case, say so and one will. Ask which tier fits →
